The County Fair

For one week in August the Northwest Washington Fair comes to town and for one afternoon of that week the Macaleers hit the fair. Animals, rides and the YL bbq booth!

Tour De Whatcom

Willa and Bret entered their first bike race together last weekend. I guess you'd call it more of a ride than a race but the had a blast! The Tour De Whatcom is a 25, 50 or 100 mile ride through the county. Bret thought the 25 miles would be plenty for Willa's first event. They got signed in and off they went. Two-ish hours later they were crossing the finish line!

Pool Days!

Wow! after eight years in Bellingham we just discovered this lovely neighborhood pool right down the road from our house. Needless to say we have spent MANY afternoons there since! Thanks Uncle Jesse for the introduction!

Adlai loves the pool and I am sad to say is fearless. Girlfriend would jump right in the deep end if I would let her! Luckily there is a huge 2 foot shallow end!
