A Whale of a Mother's Day!!

For Mother's Day we went for a bike ride and picnic on Lummi Island. Just as we were riding up to our favorite beach for picnicing a pod of Orcas came swimming by. They hung around for about half an hour before moving on. I won't bore you with all the pictures but here are a few from our day

Bret, Willa & the Whale

Here is the family... what a great Mother's Day!

Bret and Willa got Leah a new fancy slr digital camera for mother's day... we did a lot of practicing!

Trip to Tulip Town

Our spring is never complete without a scenic drive down to Skagit County to see the tulip fields. We spent last week's family fun friday wandering the fields! Here are some pics...

Lazy days of... spring?

We have enjoyed a beautiful spring, so far... here are some of our outings and adventures
No that is not chocolate... it's dirt. Willa loves to play in the yard and apparently loves dirt! Last year we really enjoyed being out in our yard... we spent hours at a time out there. Will sat in her bumbo or on a mat playing, I read a book... it was lovely! This year I follow Willa around discouraging dirt eating and flower licking!

When it comes to stroller repair, Willa is a big help!

Another picnic at the park... Bret met us at the park for his lunch break. We did a little more playing than eating!

The slide!

I think this is called grand theft cycle...

Our monkey!

Willa has taken over our grocery shopping!

Our second quintesential Texas outing.... we visited the George Bush Presidential Library at A&M. Ofir said , and I quote, "I've never felt so free" (he requested that I please note the sarcasm)

Story time at the Frisco library. Willa looks a little drunk from all the fun!

Off to a birthday girls lunch for Stefani

The Blue Bonnets were out! Many people mistake the yellow rose for the Texas state flower... wrong! It's the blue bonnet. We stopped in a nearby field to take some pics with our girls!

Wila truly was a big help. She spent half her time swifering the house!

Stefani had an amazing(and frequently sterilized) ball pit in her classroom. Willa had a blast! Jenna even joined her for a pic!
