Family Fun Friday

Heading out for a bike ride and picnic....our family fun Friday of choice!

 We threw little eggs filled with goldfish crackers and animal crackers out on the patio for Sonja, Adlai, and Jude. It took them a few minutes to get the hang of it!

Another Family Fun Friday!

It truly is getting to be that time of year....we can move our family fun Fridays out of doors! This particular Friday we headed out for a bike ride and picnic!

Palm Sunday

Willa sang in the childrens choir for palm Sunday. She practiced for weeks...sooo cute! Things to note in the video... she really wanted to stand by her friend Olivia so, at the beginning you will see her standing around looking for her. Then you can see her whisper to Suzanne that she can't find Olivia. Suzanne stops what she is doing, picks Olivia up off the third row and and moves her to the front row. Then the teachers take the palms away (I am pretty sure this is to keep the kids from putting out an eye). You will note that Willa continues to wave her non existant palm...this is because each week they practiced without the palms so, Willa thought you were supposed to continue waving...hilarious!

Macaleer March Madness

March was a a crazy rainy month for us. It turned out that a lot of those rainy days turned into sunny afternoons! You better believe we headed straight outside for some vitamin D and playtime. Here are a lot of pictures of our afternoons of fun...

 Setting our ladybugs free. We made our ladybugs from Willa's birthday party a lovely little terrarium and enjoyed them for  few weeks before we let them go into the garden.

Look at her face....it looks like she has been reading mommy and daddy's book "Cinderella Ate My Daughter". No princess-y crowns for her!

 Willa comes home with so much art work these days I was having a hard time keeping up with it. So, I started taking pictures of each piece to make a book. Here is one of her many masterpieces.

 Willa past up princesses and my little ponies to get that drill. She picked it up and said "now I can build things with daddy"

 

What you can't see in this picture is the wagon full of musical instruments. Willa like to have us pull them around the neighborhood while she plays. She calls it going on a parade. I didn't get the camera out in time to get a picture of them leaving but Willa had her drum hung around her neck and was leading the way down the street...hilarious!
